Who We Are

Apurvakriti Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. (AIPL) was incorporated in 2007 with the aim of contributing to the development of infrastructure in the country, and has been in operations since 2008. In the 18 years since, the company has delivered projects across Railways, Metros and other infrastructure sectors.

Our core competencies lie in Railways and Metros — railway sidings, ballastless track, OHE and S&T systems, bridges and buildings. Across clients and geographies, AIPL is known for one thing above all: getting the job done, with speed, quality and safety.

Sh. Sham Lal Mittal

Founder & Managing Director

M.Tech and B.Tech in Civil Engineering from NIT Kurukshetra, Sh. Sham Lal Mittal joined the Indian Railways as a Class-I IRSE Officer in 1984 and served across South Central Railway, the Railway Ministry and IRCON until 2007, including a World Bank railway project in Mozambique.

He founded Apurvakriti Infrastructure in December 2007. With over 40 years of railway expertise, he oversees a diverse portfolio of track works, bridges and infrastructure — ensuring innovation, integrity and safety in every build.

Executive Director — Systems & Innovation

M.S. in Systems Engineering & Robotics from the University of Maryland, with pioneering work in autonomous vehicles and complex software systems in the USA. He keeps AIPL’s technical capabilities and IT infrastructure at the forefront of the industry.
